Connected, But Alone Ted Talk

the link in the description below.

what the person in the ted video was saying is that technology is blinding who we are and we should use technology to be ourselves than a person behind computer, laptop, t.v., and other sort sof technology.

Do you agree that technology changes who we are? Why or why not? Explain whether these changes are positive or negative.

yes it does. the changes are that the person becomes the person they are in the way they use technology.

What does “alone together” mean to you?

it means that we are alone in that place but we are always together even so your not there.

“We expect more from technology than we do from each other.” Do you agree or disagree? Explain your answer.

i agree because people mostly rely on technology.

Do you think you are the same person when you text/email/comment that you are in “real life”? Why or why not? Explain.

no because it seems i say stuff i wouldn't say in real life.

Would you rather text than talk in conversation? Why or why not. Explain your thinking.

text cause i get nervous in front of people.

Do you agree that technology is a form of companionship? Explain

yes cause it has helped the people so much.

                                                     my perspective

technology mostly harms teenagers in schools because they can get bullied and no one can do anything to stop unless it goes out of hand. also the person who gets bullied is getting called at and the person who is bullying the person can't see the person who is bullying them and i could be a friend that is their friend or a kid at there school who doesn't like them at all.
